Purelux 9200 - Auxiliary Light

Purelux 9200 is a high-performance round 9" auxiliary light, which is at the top of its size category both with its light output and its other top features. This light is equipped with, for example, a two-color parking light (white and orange), a neutral 5000K color temperature, and two different power modes, which can be switched between by just pressing a button! The light can be switched to a more moderate power mode approved for road traffic or PowerBoost® mode, which removes the limiters and releases the full measured light output of 10487 lumens. Powerful LEDs combined with advanced lens and reflector technology create a high-quality combined light beam, thanks to which the output of the 9200 is enough to illuminate the road section ahead up to 551 meters (measured, 1 @ lux) while the reflectors also direct the light evenly from the side to side of the road.

Unlike many other round auxiliary lights, the light beam of the 9200 is wider than usual, and the light is spread from the bright, laterally wide main beam evenly across the entire width of the road. In the height direction, the beam is softly delineated, so that stray light does not escape unnecessarily towards the sky or focus disturbingly on the road in front. Therefore the 9200 doesn't create a bright ball of light in front of the vehicle that disturbs the driver's ability to see. Thanks to its excellent beam, the 9200 does not need additional lights with a wider or narrower light pattern to support it, and with the power of two (or more) 9200s, even the widest road section can be illuminated in such a way that animals coming from the ditch onto the roadway can be spotted in good time. With two or more lights, the beams can also be directed either parallel (maximizing the width) or on top of each other (maximizing the distance), so the light can be directed exactly where it is most needed.

Due to its size, the 9200 fits perfectly both in larger vehicles and as part of the equipment of heavy vehicles, and thanks to its tremendous light output and PowerBoost® feature, it is also well suited for Off-Road vehicles, which are driven on the unlit off-road trails of the North, disciplined by the darkness that swallows all the light around. The button for changing the power mode is placed within easy reach at the back of the lamp, and it works as a mechanical switch, meaning that the last used setting always remains in the lamp's memory.

To maximize visibility, the 9200 is equipped with a neutral color temperature of 5000 Kelvin, which is optimized specifically for road traffic. The neutral color temperature facilitates e.g. the observation of terrain shapes and possible obstacles, animals and traffic signs, and it does not reflect light back into the driver's eyes from nature's white snow cover or false colors of the environment. In addition, the neutral color temperature works better than cool tones in bad weather conditions, such as fog and rain, and it helps to keep your eyes sharp in the seemingly endless darkness. The 5000K color temperature fits nicely with newer cars with standard LED or Xenon lights, and brings the desired brightness and sharpness even alongside the own lights of older vehicles equipped with halogen lights.

The appearance of the 9200 is modern, and its contemporary dark optics and black profile allow for a stylish and impressive installation. The orange or white parking light running through the center of the light and the frameless lens that prevents the accumulation of snow and ice give the light a wonderful look whether it is on or off. In addition to the stylish appearance, the 9200 is also very durable, which is confirmed by e.g. with a practically unbreakable polycarbonate lens, a body made of powder-coated and UV-protected aluminum, and the highest possible tightness rating (IP68/IP69K), the lamp is excellently resistant to year-round conditions and corrosion, and the UV protection does not allow the body to fade.

Unlike several other round additional lights, the body of the 9200 is considerably thinner in the depth direction, so the light is easy to install e.g. for hard-to-shape bumpers. In addition, the light installation leg is placed directly under the light, i.e. it does not increase the installation width, which enables the lights to be installed completely side by side if necessary. The installation is facilitated by the sturdy mounting leg supplied with the light, the DTP connector already in place in the power cord, and the ready-made plus wires from the power cord to the parking lights. The wide operating voltage range (9-36 V) enables installation in both 12V and 24V systems. The lamp is protected against radio interference in accordance with the ECE R10 standard.
