Purelux Panther Aero S1050 is a low-profile and aerodynamically designed led bar, intended to be part of the lighting system for heavier equipment. Panther Aero S1050 features a sleek, low-profile design, achieved through its edgeless frame and dark aesthetics. Due to its larger size (1026 mm), this led bar is best suited for roof installations, where the ramp's aerodynamics can be fully utilized. All Panther series light bars come equipped with dual-color parking lights, but most importantly, Purelux PowerBoost® technology. This means that the led bar can be activated in either the restricted E-marked power mode or the PowerBoost® mode. The unrestricted PowerBoost® mode surpasses E-marking, delivering a measured light output of 16,061 lumens with a measured range of 653 meters at 1 lux.

Panther Aero S1050 provides an ideal light pattern for navigating the challenging dark roads of the Northern regions, offering a long reach and wide spread to illuminate road edges. The light pattern is softly delimited vertically to avoid creating a distracting light ball in front of the vehicle. Despite this vertical constraint, the light pattern still provides sufficient height to illuminate uneven terrain and prevent harsh shadows. Panther's balanced and combined light pattern enhances driving safety by increasing the driver's reaction time to detect obstacles, thanks to the larger illuminated area.

Purelux PowerBoost® - Most auxiliary lights sold today come with what is known as an E-marking. This signifies that the auxiliary lights must be power-limited to meet the traffic approval requirements in certain European countries. These regulations may not apply to every country; some countries might have special exceptions. To comply with these regulations, manufacturers produce auxiliary lights with E-markings, enabling them to be sold throughout the entire European market. Consequently, the output is limited in nearly all additional lights. However, by activating the PowerBoost® mode, you can bypass the E-marking and unleash the full potential of the auxiliary lights when the approval is not needed, in for example offroad or rally uses.

The 5000K color temperature has been optimized for the challenging Nordic conditions, ensuring it remains easy on the eyes, even during night driving or in snow-covered landscapes. This balanced color temperature makes it easier to observe terrain shapes and contours while avoiding eye strain during long journeys. Furthermore, a color temperature of 5000 Kelvin is better suited than cooler color temperatures for adverse weather conditions, such as fog and rain. The 5000K color temperature also complements newer vehicles equipped with LED or Xenon headlights.

Unlike other led bars, no extra cord needs to be connected or disconnected to activate the lamp's different power modes, but switching between PowerBoost® and road mode is unprecedentedly easy by pressing the button at the end of the lamp. The last used power mode remains in the lamp's "memory", and thus there is no need, for example, in road traffic use, to ensure that the lamp always turns on at maximum power, when the power is turned off in between and the car starts moving again.

The led bar's edgeless lens is made of UV-protective and virtually unbreakable polycarbonate, designed to withstand both stone impacts and scratches from branches. The edgeless lens prevents the accumulation of snow, ice, or dirt, ensuring the lens remains clean even in adverse weather conditions.

Moreover, the fixture itself is optimized for rugged use, thanks to its powder-coated and UV-protected aluminum construction. This helps resist scratches, fading, and other tough conditions, while also providing excellent corrosion resistance. The led bar's IP68/IP69K protection rating attests to its robust and compact structure. The bar comes with both traditional side brackets and width-adjustable mounting brackets underneath the light, offering ample installation possibilities. The bar's reference number (17.5) permits installation alongside nearly all standard headlights without rendering the original ones obsolete. Furthermore, the led bar is protected against radio interference according to the ECE R10 standard. A two-year (24-month) warranty is included.
