By placing an order, you consent to the use of your personal data. Please see our privacy policy under the “Privacy Policy” tab.

Delivery terms in brief:

  1. All prices in the online store include the applicable VAT (except for wholesale store).

  2. Our products have a 14-day return policy. Returned products must be unused and in resaleable condition.

  3. We process orders on weekdays within 1–4 business days of receipt. Orders received over the weekend are processed on Monday. If an ordered product is temporarily out of stock, the customer will be notified promptly. Once products are shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email, or if store pickup was selected, we will notify you when the product is ready.

  4. If the customer receives an incorrect or defective product, they must contact customer service immediately by email or phone.

  5. We are not responsible if delivery is prevented, delayed, or hindered due to circumstances beyond our control, such as war, natural disasters, export/import restrictions, governmental decisions, public transport disruptions, strikes, force majeure events, or other similar situations affecting RST-Steel online store operations.

Delivery and shipping:

We currently deliver to the following countries: Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Iceland.

Orders will be delivered straight to the customer using international carriers. Delivery cost depends on the delivery address. Applied delivery cost and method will be mentioned in Shopping cart before proceeding the payment. We use DHL and Postnord deliver packages across Europe and Norway.

Order-specific freight:

  • For large or heavy products, we use separate freight.

  • We select the most suitable option through partners such as DHL.

Customs fees
Norway and other non-EU countries: The customer is responsible for any customs and import fees, including duties, VAT, and other governmental charges.

Delivery time:

We process our orders within 1 – 4 working days of receiving the order. The delivery time for the products in stock at the moment of placing the order is usually 5-10 working days.

If the product, or some of the products are out of stock at the moment of ordering, in principle we wait until all products arrive in our stock and ship them all together at the same delivery. We inform the customer in such instances.

Payment Methods:

Products and their shipping costs will be paid with the order. In the online store, you can use the following payment methods: PayPal, Stripe Credit Card and Klarna Payments.

Return and Exchange Policy:

All products (except gift cards and other intangible items) have a 14-day return policy. Returned products must be unused and unchanged, including the original packaging.
Please notify customer service in advance about your return.

Product returns: Contact our customer service to receive instructions on returning the product.

 

NOTE: We do not reimburse shipping costs for products returned without following the return instructions.

Warranty:

RST-Steel Oy complies with the Consumer Protection Act’s liability for defects. In addition, we provide a 12-month warranty covering material and manufacturing defects (excluding halogen and incandescent bulbs). If the warranty period differs, it is stated on the product page. Warranty starts from the date on the receipt.

For warranty claims, the product, usually only the suspected defective component, is sent to us for inspection and is generally replaced if the warranty is valid.

The warranty does not cover misuse, customer modifications, installation errors, neglect of instructions, or damages caused by other incorrect actions. Warranty includes the defective component and shipping costs but does not cover installation costs. Warranty replacement does not extend the original warranty period.

Liability for product damage

Once the goods are in the customer’s possession, RST-Steel Oy is not liable for damage caused to: a) real or movable property, or b) products manufactured by the customer or containing customer-manufactured products.
RST-Steel Oy is not responsible for illegal use or installation of the product. We are also not liable for incorrect product information provided by manufacturers.

Use and installation of products

It is the customer’s responsibility to verify product suitability and comply with applicable laws, regulations, and safety requirements. RST-Steel Oy is not responsible for personal or material damage caused by improper use or installation.

Complaints

All complaints regarding orders or delivery must be submitted to customer service within seven (7) days of receiving the order.

Order Cancellation:

Customers may cancel orders if delivery has not occurred within a reasonable time. Cancellation must be communicated to customer service. We will notify customers by email or phone if delivery times differ from normal. RST-Steel Oy reserves the right to cancel orders and refund payments.

Privacy:

RST-Steel collects information about its customers and online store users to provide the best service experience. Customer data is used for secure service delivery, customer service quality, and online store development. RST-Steel Oy respects customer privacy and uses personal data only for purposes described in the privacy policy.
